Movie Ads: Nandito Ako (1994)
Kris Aquino and Phillip Salvador were paired in the film Nandito Ako [English: Here I Am] which opened in theaters on May 12, 1994. The reel love story eventually became real, and their relationship resulted in a child named Joshua.
This is a newspaper advertisement for the film:
The movie's eponymous theme song was performed by Ogie Alcasid. An interesting article about this song's origins was published in Yahoo! OMG! Philippines.
I remember this film but can't remember if I watched it but yes, this was the start of the real love affair and also the time that Kris preference were father figures or men twice her age.
ReplyDeleteparang remember ko din to, pero for sure di ko pinanood hehe... may baul ka talaga mga old clippings?
ReplyDeleteYes, Ms. Gemma. I have this plastic "baul"-like box. :)
Deletegrbe. very vintage talaga ang movie poster. Black and white pa :D
ReplyDeleteI was one yr old that time when that movie was shown, i never saw it .
Bata pa sina Kris at Philip dito. Ang galing din ng poster.
ReplyDeleteWell, I can't say much for the film although I've seen it many times on PBO. Except that Kris Aquino's acting is still pretty much the same thing. Still a ham actress, indeed! In my opinion, that is.
ReplyDeleteDirected by Jose "Kaka" Balagtas :D
ReplyDeleteHe also directed "Anak ng Kumander" starring Manny Pacquiao and "Apoy sa Dibdib ng Samar" starring Mark Lapid.
DeleteThis film is very memorable I guess for Kris and Ipe.
ReplyDeleteI have been tryin to look for a free full movie download of Nandito Ako so my family can watch it! but it seems I can't find it anywhere... Is there anyway I could get it? Please help me!
